Simon Everett was educated in Britain and trained by the Royal Insurance Company.  He moved to Bermuda as General Manager of Harnett & Richardson Limited, Lloyd’s Agents. In 1977 he founded and became President of the H & H Group an insurance/reinsurance broker, captive manager and rent-a-captive group. In 2001 he became the CEO of Independent Management Group.

Simon has been deeply involved with the insurance industry in Bermuda and has served with the Bermuda Insurance Institute, Bermuda Chamber of Commerce and the Insurance Advisory Committee for Bermuda Government. In addition, he was Chairman of the Legislation Sub Committee responsible for final drafting of the 1978 Bermuda Insurance Act. He was a guest speaker for the CPCU on 31 occasions.

He has a broad range of experience in structuring and brokering programs in commercial, personal and life product lines. He has assisted single parent, association and group captive formations, Risk Retention Groups and US domestic carriers with reinsurance protections

Vice President, Independent Brokers Ltd.

Simon Logue received his Bachelor of Science (Engineering) Degree in Geological Engineering from Queen Mary and Westfield College, University of London in 1997. After which he joined CNA Re, London, working within various risk management teams including Disaster Recovery, Business Continuity and Y2K before joining the International Treaty Business Unit.

In 2002, Simon joined BMS International Intermediaries Ltd as a Property and Casualty broker where he became Associate Director of Portfolio Risk Solutions. His responsibility was for broking treaty business in to the Lloyd’s and London Company markets with particular client focus in Eastern Europe and Asia.

In 2005, Simon moved to Bermuda and joined independent Brokers Ltd. as Vice President. His responsibilities include the placing of property, casualty and Workers’ Compensation reinsurance as well as alternative risk transfers, financial products and specialty programs.

Michael Freisenbruch, a Bermudian, is also President of the Freisenbruch-Meyer Group of Companies and is an Associate Member of the Chartered Insurance Institute (U.K.).  He is a Trustee of the Freisenbruch-Meyer Pension Trust.

The Freisenbruch-Meyer Group of Companies; is a Bermudian group formed to provide comprehensive insurance services to the Bermudian market place.  Incorporated in early 1980, the company represents Federal Insurance Company (CHUBB), London Life of Canada and Bermuda Lloyds Agent.  In 2002, ACE Bermuda Insurance Ltd acquired 40% of Freisenbruch-Meyer Insurance Services Ltd. and together with F-M Investments (Holding) Ltd. formed Freisenbruch-Meyer Insurance Limited, a local insurance Company incorporated to underwrite domestic insurance risks.  Butterfield Bank, Bermuda’s largest controlled Bank, is an investor in Freisenbruch-Meyer Insurance Limited.

Michael brings many years of experience in the Alternative Risk Business and in particular Captive insurance Management to the IMG International Group.

Vice President, Uberrimae Fidei Insurance Company Ltd.

John is a British Chartered Accountant who has worked in the Alternative Risk Transfer arena for almost 30 years. His knowledge and experience have been gained from periods working in both the Bermuda and the U.S insurance markets.  John moved to Bermuda in 1977 and joined Marsh & McLennan. He rose to the position of Vice President (Client Accounting and Liaison) with them before joining the Bermuda operation of the Armco Insurance Group and becoming Vice President and Treasurer of the Bermuda Profit Center.

John moved to the U.S in 1984 and spent the next 15 years working in various segments of the US market, mainly centered on the captive area. For the first two years he worked closely with the Arizona Department of Insurance in the receivership of a small commercial carrier. In 1987 he moved to California to take up a position with the IAS/H&H Group of Bermuda.  As President of IAS Insurance Management, Inc. based in Orange County, California, John worked closely with the Bermuda Group on a number of captive programs based in several states. He also provided financial analysis and management to a small California Insurance Carrier. He also obtained approval from the Hawaii Insurance Department to manage a Hawaii domiciled Risk Retention Group.  John joined IMG in September 2002 and provides analytical and accounting services to FMMS, Uberrimae Fidei Insurance Company Ltd. and Independent Brokers Ltd..

William Madeiros, a Bermudian, was educated in Bermuda and has over thirty years of experience in the local insurance and business community. William has also spent extended periods managing insurance operations in the Cayman Islands, The British Virgin Island and the Bahamas. He specializes in business development and growth. He is an Associated of the Chartered Insurance Institute and a Trustee of the Freisenbruch-Meyer Pension Trust.

William's record of public service includes involvement on various Government and Charitable Boards (The Bermuda College, Consumer Affairs, The Motor Insurers Fund, Immigration, Masterworks, The Bermuda Hospitals Charitable Trust and The Boys day out Club).

William is a retired Officer (Major) of the Bermuda Regiment. During his service in the Regiment, he was awarded the Efficiency Decoration. He was a former Aide to the Governor of Bermuda and an Equerry to Her Majesty the Queen, for which he was made a Member of the Victorian Order.
